This is a very exciting time to be joining the Council as we continue our relentless focus on our priorities for the young people and their families across Hertfordshire. As part of this programme for innovation we are embarking on a transformation of Hertfordshire’s SEND services. We are therefore recruiting to this senior management post before the current post holder retires in April next year in order to lead this transformation supported by a dedicated project team and strong partnership commitment including representation from parents, carers and young people.

The Operations Director, Services for Young People is responsible for the delivery and commissioning of services for young people including traded services. It is a great time to join us as we embark on a transformation programme which will allow you to play a leading role in the delivery of the SEND reforms and early help support services for young people and families working with partners in the public and voluntary sector and especially schools.
